• Our Sports Student, P.KARTHIKA, I B.Sc CS triumphedsilver medal (2nd) position in the Khelo India Youth Games Volleyball Championship held at Madhya Pradesh on Feb 23.
• On February 12, 2023, A. Kirithika, I- B.Sc.-CS finished the State-Level Marathon in the Salem City Marathon in 1 hour, 9 minutes, and 41 second.
• On February 12, 2023, R. Manjuriya, I- M.Sc.-CS finished the state-level marathon in the Salem City Marathon in 1 hour, 26 minutes, and 1 second.
• Our Sports student P. Suveena-I M.Sc-CS won 3rd position in the All India Volleyball Championship held at chittur, Andra Pradesh from 20.01.23 to 23.01.23.

• One Day Workshop was conducted on HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING on 26.09.2015. The Chief Guest was Dr.T.N.Ravi,Assistant Professor Department Of Computer Science, Periyar EVR College (Autonomous),Trichy.
• Guest Lecture Programme was conducted on CLOUD COMPUTING SECURITY PRIVACY held on 02.09.2015.�The Chief guest was Mr.S.Ramani M.E.,Ph.D, Managing Directo Optimus Technocrates (India) Pvt.Ltd Salem.
• Extension of intellectual connection through Symposium, Seminar, Workshops and Guest Lectures were organized regularly.
• One day Workshop was conducted on INFORMATION SECURITY THROUGH BIOMETRICS AND FUZZY SYSTEMS held on 23.10.2011.The Chief Guests were Dr.R.Umarani Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, Sri Saradha College Salem and Mrs.Vidhya Thulasi Raman, HOD of the department of Computer Science, Govt Arts College Krishnagiri.

Department Activities

• The Charles Babbage Club of our department hosted a variety of activities from 13.12.2021 to 23.12.2021, including Brain Dump, Tech Writing, Tech Hacking, Type Racing, and Word Hunt.
• Students from our department took part with excitement and received a variety of medals and prizes.
• Our Department associated a club named as Charles Babbage Club.
• Our Department faculty members are moulding the students by conducting the various activities like Deep coding,Web War, Paperenza and Go Google etc.,,
