Overview

• Alumnae Association is the network of former women graduate students. It is a confluence of all those who studied here and are now in diverse fields of work.
• Nobody is more invested in an institution than its alumnae.
• Our institution’s alumnae are key to its growth. We are focused on giving a global experience to our students.
• The success of any college can be measured by the contributions alumnae make to our national life.

Vision

• Serve as a platform to bridge the gap between students and alumnae, guided by ideals and values that uplift both current and future alumnae.
• Provide high-quality education to young people, especially girls from rural and economically challenged backgrounds.
• Support the evolving needs of our global alumnae community and strengthen ties between alumnae and their alma mater.

Mission

• Promote a long-term partnership between Bharathiyar Arts and Science College (W) and its graduates.
• Reconnect alumnae with the college and bridge the communication gap between alumnae and students.
• Encourage students by sharing academic and professional experiences of alumnae.
• Instill a sense of nationalism and social consciousness in students.
• Motivate students to pursue research and help them reach a global audience.

Objectives

• Create and establish scholarship funds to support deserving students in need.
• Inspire alumnae to actively participate in the institution’s success and contribute to its growth.
• Donate books and journals to the Alumnae Association’s Library.
• Assist the institution in strengthening its infrastructure over time in feasible ways.
