The Context
The goal of the college is to provide scholarships and financial aid to deserving students. College has a substantial endowment, allowing it to continue this practice indefinitely. The goal is to ensure that no meritorious student is denied admission to any professional course due to financial constraints. The college has a Student Welfare Committee that assists needy students in applying for different State and Central Government Scholarships for students from various reserve categories as well as the economically disadvantaged.
Scholar students, all-rounder’s, Sports persons, students who participate in intercollegiate, State, and National Level Competitions, students who participate in research based activities, and those who are active in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are all given special attention by the college. At every level college not only gives financial assistance to students, but also ensures that they receive the most benefits and learning outcomes possible during their course work.
The Practice
The Management of this college has actively supported students from low-income backgrounds since its inception. The College has made a firm commitment to provide all feasible financial assistance to deserving and needy students, allowing them to pursue their long-held desire of obtaining a higher education. The College’s goal is to help the poor and needy while also rewarding students who achieve in academics, co-curricular activities, extracurricular activities, extension activities, and sports. The College has formed different associations to help students develop their character and personalities. These associations organize extracurricular activities that support our academic values.
A well constituted committee of faculty members, with the support of students, identifies the financially needy and worthy students. As previously stated, financial aid is granted depending on the students’ need and performance. After appropriate verification of documented evidence and strict adherence to the rules created for the purpose, the committee finalizes the list of qualified students for aid. Taking inspiration from the institution’s vision and goal, as well as its long history of pro-student attitudes and actions, the college pays the tuition and examination fees of regular and meritorious students who are unable to pay due to financial hardship.
Students are informed through notices posted on notice boards and distributed in class. A dedicated committee for students’ welfare is formed to assist them in obtaining various forms of State and Central government scholarship programs. Students who are experiencing difficulties can approach the concerned convener, and the concerns will be resolved to the best of their abilities.
Apart from providing scholarships to the needy and impoverished, the college works hard to push students to achieve academic success. To help students develop holistically, the college encourages them to participate in extension, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities. Students are recognized on the college’s Annual Day, and special Annual Day Prize Distribution Programs are conducted to distribute all the prizes to the students.

Title of the Practice: PLACEMENT- A BENCHMARK OF NICHE
Objectives of the Practice
An academic monitoring committee and placement cell have been established with the following aims to improve the quality of education provided and improve placement chances for graduating students:
The Context
The majority of students in our country are showing an interest in pursuing education, and the trend has not tapered off. The abundance of employment opportunities available to graduating students is one of the key reasons behind this trend. With so many government, private, and deemed to be universities delivering education, it is critical that an institution provide state-of-the-art education while focusing on R&D activities and brand promotion in order to be regarded as an elite institution by students and peers. Any institution that does not consistently focus on these factors will be relegated to the average institution category over a very short period of time.
Knowing this, our Management is inspiring and incentivizing the Faculty Members and administration to achieve this difficult but attainable goal.
The Practice
The quality of education provided is improved by annual curriculum revisions. Technical experts are brought in to teach a portion of a few select courses in various fields. Academics Development Programs and Workshops are held to help Faculty Members and staff improve their domain expertise.
