About the Department

Chemistry is the most excellent child of intellect and art
-Sir Cyril Norman Hinshelwood.

Chemistry begins in the stars .The stars are the source of the chemical elements, which are the building blocks of matter and the core of our subject.

Department of Chemistry was established in the year 2003 with both Under Graduate, Post Graduate course and upgrade as research Department in the year 2014.

The Department has well equipped laboratories to enrich the practical skill of the students. The aim of the department is to impart and motivate the young rural students towards scientific research. The Department is lead by a team, which contains 11 members of highly qualified and experienced faculties.

To produce first-rate chemistry professionals who will be assets to the nation and the world.

Mission

To enhance and update the academic efforts regularly to realize the ultimate vision.
