About the Department

  • The Department of Statistics was established in the year 2013 and it offers Under Graduate Course.
  • Our department contains well qualified staff members and enthusiastic students to impart Statistical knowledge among the sample survey and statistical investigator.
  • We encourage our students to participate in many competitive examinations which offers job positions such as Statistical Inspector, Statistical Investigator, Block Health Statistician and Statistical Compiler, and National Sample Survey Officer etc.,

VISION

  • To enrich the Women’s Education of students and make the confidence to achieve Government Jobs.
  • To make the students with statistical packages in Software skills and how to analyse the Data.
  • To help our students to face the problems in our society.

MISSION

  • To provide the awareness about Applications of Statistical in our World.
  • To make our students become good Statistical investigators.
  • Objective of our students are developing Statistical knowledge through conducting Seminars / Workshops and Industrial Visits in various fields.

Our Student has participated in National Youth Festival.

Department Activities

  • To provide students with a wider scope at graduate level itself in practically relevant and advanced areas of study and research.
  • To relate statistics discipline with practical needs and tasks.
  • In order to encourage multi-disciplinary approach.
  • To make students inquisitive and intellectually sharper.
  • To give thrust on studying statistics subject as a process rather than an aggregate of finished Census.
  • Study materials distribution to the students through PPT representation & shown them few videos of personal motivation.
  • Awareness programme for our students regarding the necessity of higher studies.
  • We have motivated the students to know and define their goal to be achieved through developing their general subject knowledge about using software.
