Vision of the IQAC

To develop and maintain a quality culture aiming at all-around excellence at the Institution level

Mission of the IQAC

To focus and regulate an institution's efforts and measures toward academic achievement.

To be the driving force behind ushering in quality in order to eliminate flaws and enhance efficiency.

Objectives of the IQAC

To develop quality systems to improve the College's academic and administrative performance by purposeful, consistent, and dynamic scheduled activity.

To encourage the globalization of quality culture and the institutionalisation of best practises in order to improve institutional functioning and quality.

  • The women’s college runs by the name of revolutionary Poet Bharathiyar.
  • Offering Skill based and job oriented certificate courses on emerging technologies and future skills outside the regular curriculum.
  • Only One NAAC accredited institutions with “B Grade [CGPA: 2.40] in this area.
  • Having a very vibrant and academically oriented faculty and quality students.
  • Adopting learner-centric teaching pedagogies.
  • Bagging university gold medal and ranks in different disciplines every year.

  • The First Generation Learners who accounts more than 30% need a lot of Orientation and Remedial Coaching.
  • Poor demand for Postgraduate and Research Programmes.
  • Minimum number of Funded Research Projects.

Institutional opportunities

  • To introduce more diversified study programmes in basic sciences.
  • To get autonomous status for the college after completing the present II cycle of NAAC Accreditation.
  • Higher enrolment in MOOC courses by the staff and students are expected in the coming years.
  • The Research output shall be enhanced through more Funded Research Projects and Quality Publications.
  • To insist staff members for doing Research.
