About
The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) at Bharathiyar Arts and Science College for Women is launched to develop and create a platform to introduce new ideas for and by the students. Institution Innovation Council (IIC) focuses to encourage the students in Innovation and Entrepreneurship-related activities such as concept development, problem-solving and bringing the creation of new ideas. The Cell invites challenges and creative thoughts from students to expand and materialize the concepts. Students will gain aid to systematize their start-up ideas and promote the initiatives to reach out to the public.
Objectives
- To encourage the students to develop innovative ideas
- To implement innovative ideas to fulfil Entrepreneurial dreams
- To promote thinking out of the box, critical thinking
- To organize idea contests to showcase the innovative ideas
- To nurture and promote innovative thinking among students
- To inculcate innovative teaching practices
Vision
To systematically foster the culture of innovation, support, promote, and nourish young minds as they develop fresh ideas into prototypes and become recognized as an institution of excellence in the ecosystem for promoting innovation.
Mission
- To encourage a Culture of Innovation and Entrepreneurship within the Institute.
- To create idea Events/Competitions to highlight original concepts.
- To aid in the Entrepreneurial and start-up mechanisms leading to entrepreneurship-driven job creation and economic growth.
- To improve students' cognitive skills in technology.
- To observe the recommendations made by the IIC Initiative of the MHRD.
- To provide research funding and foster an active start-up environment
